Dustin Brisson
Drafted by the Boston Red Sox in 2000, Dustin went on to play in the St. Louis Cardinals organization, seeing time at both first and third base.
After retiring from professional play, he founded Forge Athletics to deliver high-level training and personalized coaching, helping athletes of all ages develop skills and reach their full potential.

Lindsay Beer
Softball Hitting and Fielding CoachLindsay Beer, 3‑sport standout and East Longmeadow Hall of Famer, former DI Hofstra softball star, and Loomis Chaffee head softball coach.
She has 12 years of college and 10+ years of high school coaching. Served as Asst. Coach at LIU and URI, then head coach and Asst. AD at The Sage Colleges and Westfield State. She made the America East All-Tournament Team in 1999, 2000 and 2001 and was a 4-time All-Academic selection.
Michelle Wlosek
Softball Pitching & Catching CoachMichelle Wlosek has been an assistant coach for WNE softball since 2017 and began coaching high school varsity in 2013. A 2010 Springfield College graduate, she earned NEWMAC Player of the Year, NFCA All-America as a junior, and NFCA All-New England plus ESPN The Magazine Academic All-District as a senior. She was inducted into the Springfield College Athletic Hall of Fame in 2025.
David Wendt
Baseball CoachDavid Wendt brings lifelong baseball experience and a passion for developing athletes to Forge Athletics. A Methuen native, he starred at Methuen High and played at Dowling College before reaching the Tampa Bay Rays organization.
His pro experience informs his emphasis on work ethic, discipline, and detail. As an instructor, David focuses on fundamentals, confidence, baseball IQ, and a competitive mindset to help players of all ages reach their potential.
Arthur “Ace” Adams
Baseball Pitching & Development CoachArthur “Ace” Adams is a pitching and player development coach with decades of experience at collegiate & professional levels. An All-Big Ten pitcher at Michigan & Cape Cod League All-Star, and coach with Red Sox, Cardinals, Astros, Tigers, Marlins, & Expos.
He’s developed 50+ Major League pitchers, including Cy Young winner Cliff Lee. Ace is a member of the Cape Cod Baseball League & Western MA Baseball Hall of Fame.
Patrick Strange
Baseball Pitching CoachPat Strange is currently the Assistant Coach and Pitching Coach for the Westfield State University Owls baseball team.
Before transitioning to coaching, Strange was a Major League Baseball (MLB) pitcher. A standout at Springfield Central High School in Massachusetts, he was drafted by the New York Mets in the second round of the 1998 MLB Draft. Reached the majors, pitching out of the bullpen for the Mets during the 2002 and 2003 seasons.
